We've returned to a very solid TV schedule at this point thanks to midseason premieres, and this week we get even more. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back, The Walking Dead is in the midst of a major new arc, and we're about to see how The Omen translates to the small screen with the series premiere of Damien.

Check out the week in TV below. What's on your watchlist?

Damien (A&E) Monday, 10 p.m. - "The Beast Rises"

Series premiere! - Adapting a popular film (or series of films) for television has become an increasingly popular trend in genre TV. We got Hannibal, a new take on Dracula, and the still-airing Bates Motel, and there's more on the way. This week, we get to see the TV take on The Omen with Damien, the new series from former The Walking Dead showrunner Glenn Mazzara. The series will follow an adult version of the title character (played by Merlin's Bradley James) as he attempts to come to terms with the Satanic past he's long since buried. Will the show be able to sustain the tension and supernatural drama for the duration of a full season? Tonight's the night we start to find out. Check out a preview below.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC) Tuesday, 9 p.m. - "Bouncing Back"

Midseason premiere! - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is still a very divisive show among Marvel fans, but Season 3 was the year it really upped its game in terms of ambition. We've traveled to other worlds, the Secret Warriors have assembled, and we've got more Inhumans than ever. When we last left the show, a certain Hydra agent was dead...or so the agents thought. Now, facing a threat they don't see coming, Coulson and crew have to try to take Hydra once and for all, with plenty of, sometimes Inhuman, resistance standing in their way. Check out a preview below.

Legends of Tomorrow (CW) Thursday, 8 p.m. - "Night of the Hawk"

Now that Legends of Tomorrow has been around for a while, let's have a quick look at how it's faring in ratings. When it debuted, it drew more than 3 million total viewers and a key demo rating of 1.2, giving The CW its best night in that timeslot in two years. Since then, it's dipped a bit, hovering between two and three million viewers and around a 1.0 rating pretty comfortably. That number sounds small, but remember, this The CW we're talking about. The standards are different, and it's also a network driven by younger viewers who aren't necessarily watching the show on a television. Expect Season 2 to happen. Check out a preview of this week's episode below.

The Walking Dead (AMC) Sunday, 9 p.m. - "The Same Boat"

Negan Time? - For many fans of The Walking Dead comics, we may be entering the most exciting time in the history of the TV series, because it's almost time for Negan. If anyone has ever competed with The Governor in terms of evil leadership and sadistic tactical brilliance, it's him, and we already know he'll be played by the amazing Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Negan hasn't appeared onscreen yet, but his followers, The Saviors, have, and at this point they're doing far more than just lurking in the background. We're in the midst of a major confrontation, and that means Rick and company could meet the man, himself, any day now. Check out a preview below.

CSI: Cyber (CBS) Sunday, 10 p.m. - "Legacy"

Season finale! - We don't talk about CSI: Cyber all that much here, because while it's rather tech-heavy and nerdy in that way, it's not exactly supernatural. That said, we're approaching the time of year when network executives are making decisions regarding their regular season shows. Some will stay, but some will go and make room for other developing projects. If you're a fan of Cyber, I'm sorry to tell you this show will likely be the latter. Though it debuted last year with more than 10 million viewers, Season 2's live viewers have never topped more than 7 million, and while another network might consider that a great number, this is CBS, home to NCIS -- a show that regularly tops 15 million viewers in its 13th Season -- and The Big Bang Theory -- a show putting up similar numbers. In an age of cord-cutting, CBS boasts shows that frequently defy ratings odds, and thought CSI was once its most popular franchise, it's likely executives are already thinking of replacing Cyber with something that can perform better in prime timeslots. Maybe it's time for NCIS: Cyber?
