The midseason is in full swing this week with at least three major series premieres for sci-fi and genre fans. From alien dramas to period-set comic sagas, there's a lot to watch.

SYFY is leading the week with its debut of the new series Deadly Class, adapted from the comic of the same name. The bone-crunching series follows a group of teens at a high school where survival isn't just a metaphor. Fox also has the series premiere of the high-concept sci-fi series The Passage, about a federal agent trying to protect a young girl who could hold the secrets to saving the world from a deadly virus. The CW is also launching a new show this week with the Roswell reboot Roswell, New Mexico hitting the schedule. The reboot ages up the cult fave WB series and puts a more political spin on the concept of aliens trying to blend into middle America.

Beyond the big debuts, there's also plenty of new stuff. A chunk of the Arrowverse is back this week, with The Flash and Supergirl resuming after hiatus. NBC's The Good Place is also continuing an absolutely fascinating season, along with a new episode of Fox's The Gifted, a new Gotham, and a whole lot more.

Check out our full rundown below and let us know what you'll be watching.
