What was the best TV of the last year? We're about to find out. The annual Emmy awards hit this week, and we'll be pulling for plenty of genre favorites to see if they can bring home some little statues.

But that's not all, as streaming is stepping into the gap to bring some fresh series premieres this week, including Netflix's Ratched, a terrifying spin on the 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Netflix is also dropping its Jurassic World animated series Camp Cretaceous, which looks to follow a group of kid campers caught on the island when all hell breaks loose. The streamer also has its ambitious new documentary Challenger: The Final Flight.

Beyond that, the long-awaited return of FXX's animated spy-fi comes Archer has finally arrived. The show spent the last few seasons spoofing other genres while Archer was in a coma, but now he's waking up — so we finally get to see what's been going on in the real world. Prime Video has a new episode of The Boys (which is rolling out the rest of its second season on a weekly basis), the Food Network has the pumpkin-carving extravaganza Outrageous Pumpkins, and HBO has a new Lovecraft Country.

Digging deeper, TBS has a new American Dad!, NBC has a new American Ninja Warrior, HBO has the recent horror remake of Invisible Man on the schedule, The CW has a new The 100, and more.
