It's not the busiest week on TV, but there's still plenty to watch — including the long-awaited return for one of Netflix's biggest supernatural hits of the past few years. No, not Stranger Things — the other one.

Lucifer is back this month for a fresh batch of episodes in its fifth season, picking up on plenty of sexy, devilish cliffhangers. The show, a pick-up from Fox a couple of years ago, has turned into a bona fide hit on streaming. It's also coming back for a sixth and (presumably) final season next year. The CW also has a new series debuting this week with the import dramedy Dead Pixels, based around video game culture. On the big finale front, AMC's horror series NOS4A2 wraps up its second, spine-tingling season.

Digging deeper, CBS All Access has a new episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks, SYFY has a new Wynonna Earp (which is getting close to its midseason break), HBO is going back to the gothic with a new Lovecraft Country, and The CW has a fresh installment in The 100's final season. There are also a few scattered movies on the dial and some pseudo-genre docu-series and reality TV if you find yourself channel-surfing for something a bit more speculative.

Oh, and if politics is your thing, the Democratic National Convention is also this week — which also explains why several major networks have blocked off primo scheduling time to air it.

Check out our full rundown below and let us know what you'll be watching.
