TV THIS WEEK: The Mandalorian docu-series, Solar Opposites, Creepshow, Clone Wars finale

By Trent Moore
The Mandalorian

It's May the 4th, and not surprisingly, Disney+ is taking full advantage of the Star Wars holiday with a whole lot of programming from a galaxy far, far away. But outside of Star Wars fare, we have some gory horror, a new adult animated series from the Rick & Morty brain trust, and a whole lot more.

The Disney+ line-up of new Star Wars shows is loaded, led by the series finale of the acclaimed The Clone Wars animated series. The deep dive into the behind the scenes machinations that led to The Mandalorian is also going live and should be a wild treat for fans, loaded with A-list interviews from the creatives behind the show. If that wasn't enough, the most recent Star Wars flick The Rise of Skywalker is also hitting the streaming service early to celebrate.

If you're looking for something loaded with some scares and blood, AMC is premiering the first season of the buzzy Shudder streaming horror anthology Creepshow. It marks the show's first run on cable or a network after streaming on Shudder. Hulu has its new animated series Solar Opposites, which is about aliens hiding out in America. The CW has a loaded schedule of new superhero shows, with The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman and Supergirl all fresh, while Riverdale is wrapping up its current season this week.

FX has a new What We Do in the Shadows, DC Universe has a new Harley Quinn (and SYFY is airing the show's first season with a weekly Sunday block of episodes), NBC has the season premiere of Blindspot, plus a whole lot more.

Check out the full line-up below and let us know what you'll be watching.
