TV THIS WEEK: New Salvation, new Killjoys, new Fear the Walking Dead and more

Sure, summer is typically on the slow side — but this week runs a bit slower than most. That said, there's still some fun sci-fi fare to check out. You just have to dig a little deeper to find it.

SYFY has fresh episodes of Wynonna Earp and Killjoys, while CBS is also bringing the originals with Salvation and Elementary. The middle of the week is pretty much the doldrums, so we dug up some decent movies hitting basic cable if you're just looking for something fun and nerdy to watch. Things heat up a bit more when the weekend rolls around, though, with a new Fear the Walking Dead bringing a zombie storm to the hit undead franchise.

Check out our full rundown below and let us know what you'll be watching.
