TV THIS WEEK: Stranger Things 2, Saw Gerrera returns to Star Wars Rebels, and more

Ironically enough, the biggest story on TV this week isn't actually on TV — it's on Netflix. The streaming service's 1980s-set scare-fest Stranger Things finally returns for Season 2, so go ahead and get your Eggo waffles ready (and prepare for some foul-mouthed kiddos, too).

But, that doesn't mean there’s not a whole lot to see back on good old fashioned television, too. We get the animated Michael Jackson's Halloween special if you're in the mood for something family friendly, plus a Star Wars Rebels two-parter that will bring Saw Gerrera back into the fold. There's also a new episode of Fox's excellent sci-fi drama The Gifted, a new Gotham and a new Lucifer.

The CW's DC slate is also new this week, with Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and the Legends of Tomorrow all taking on some new missions and baddies. ABC's Inhumans also starts winding toward the back half of its run, while SYFY bids farewell to event series Channel Zero: No-End House.
