It's time for the Emmys, and in case you were thinking of skipping the annual prestige TV awards, just a heads up — there's a whole lot of genre stuff nominated this time around.

The Emmy Awards on Monday night feature nominees such as Game of Thrones, The Handmaid's Tale and Westworld (among others), so could be a big night for geeky stuff looking to bring home some trophies. Monday night also brings the season finales of asteroid thriller Salvation and long-running Sherlock Holmes adaptation Elementary. If you're looking for something on the freaky side, the new season of American Horror Story continues to terrify us all on Wednesdays.

SYFY is continuing to hold down the fort on Fridays, with new installments of fan faves Wynonna Earp and Killjoys. Fear the Walking Dead shambles on for Sunday, as the survivors continue to put things together after the storm and face off with a dangerous new villain.

Check out our full rundown below and let us know what you think.
