TV THIS WEEK: Walking Dead walk, Glee goes Rocky Horror, & more!

Halloween's popping up everywhere on the schedule this week as two zombie apocalypse shows premiere, Dead Set and The Walking Dead; Glee takes on The Rocky Horror Picture Show; and Freddy Krueger (aka Robert Englund) gets into people's nightmares on Chuck. Meanwhile, the Ghost Hunters go live for Halloween and Destination Truth signs off with its fall finale.

Plus Sean meets a conspiracy theorist on The Event, Tricia Helfer pops in to play cat and mouse with Cal on Lie to Me, there's a whole lot of shaking going on on No Ordinary Family, Lt. Scott hallucinates about Earth on Stargate Universe, Daniel tries to re-create Zoe's avatar on Caprica, Leonard gets busy with Raj's sister on The Big Bang Theory, everyone wants to kill Katherine on The Vampire Diaries, it's Katee Sackhoff and dinosaurs on CSI, Lois gets in trouble in Smallville ... again, Dean finds out the truth on Supernatural, it's a bank robbery on Sanctuary, and Felicia Day takes on werewolves on Red: Werewolf Hunter.

Monday, Oct. 25

Chuck (NBC) 8 p.m. - "Chuck Versus the Aisle of Terror"

It's Halloween, Chuck style! Chuck finally gets to talk to his mom (Linda Hamilton), and Team Bartowski go after a spooky scientist (Robert Englund) who plans to release toxins that cause nightmares. Meanwhile, the Buy More employees embrace Halloween. Morgan Fairchild guest-stars as Mommy Awesome.

The Event (NBC) 9 p.m. - "Loyalty"

Sean looks for answers at Leila's home and meets a mysterious woman with a conspiracy theory (Paula Malcomson), while President Martinez and Sterling begin to suspect there is a mole in their ranks. Meanwhile Simon is tested.

Scare Tactics (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Vampire Stakeout"

Pranks this week involve what happens when a singing telegram revives a dead man, what a wine maker's secret ingredient really is and the "murder" of a vampire.

Lie to Me (Fox) 9 p.m. - "Double Blind"

Tricia Helfer alert! While the Lightman Group is checking for security leaks before a big exhibition at an art museum, Cal finds himself drawn in by a mysterious woman (Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer).

Dead Set (IFC) Midnight - "Episode 1"

Dead Set gets the zombie jump on Sunday's premiere of The Walking Dead. The first episode of this British import delves into what happens when news of a zombie outbreak threatens to pre-empt an episode of Big Brother. This mini-series will air over five consecutive nights at midnight, Monday-Friday.

Tuesday, Oct. 26

No Ordinary Family (ABC) 8 p.m. - "No Ordinary Quake"

Jim looks into suspicious earthquakes, while Stephanie begins to suspect that J.J. might have powers after all. Meanwhile, Daphne's mind reading causes her to believe that a teacher and one of her classmates are having an affair.

Glee (Fox) 8 p.m. - "The Rocky Horror Glee Show"

It's just a jump to the left ... Glee takes on Rocky Horror when Will discovers Emma's a fan of the 1975 cult movie classic. Original cast members Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf guest-star. Any guess who plays Brad and Janet, damn it?

Stargate Universe (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Cloverdale"

While checking out a new planet, Lt. Scott is infected by a plant creature and develops mind-bending hallucinations that make him believe he's back on Earth. Meanwhile, Greer and Tamara struggle to save him.

Caprica (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "False Labor"

When a conflict on Tauron extends to Caprica, Sam sends weapons home and Amanda attempts to get information on the STO from Clarice's home. Meanwhile, Daniel attempts to re-create Zoe's avatar and discovers secrets regarding the Ha'La'Tha.

On the Cartoon Network's Tower Prep (8 p.m.), Ian is accused of a series of thefts just as he's beginning to adjust to his situation. The History Channel's The Real Story of Halloween (8 p.m.) looks at the roots of the Halloween traditions. On the Animal Planet's Lost Tapes (10 p.m.), paranormal experts investigate ritual murders in Mexico City by a cult attempting to release an ancient serpent. And on IFC's Dead Set (Midnight), Patrick and Pippa are trapped in the Big Brother green room in this reality show/zombie mashup.

Wednesday, October 26

Undercovers (NBC) 8 p.m. - "Xerxes"

While attempting to retrieve a painting with a hidden formula for a biological weapon, Samantha has to use a former cover as the wife of Steven's old enemy (Sean Maguire). Meanwhile, Hoyt develops a crush.

Ghost Hunters (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Oldest House in Georgia"

The TAPS crew checks out the oldest house in Georgia and the Ulster County Jail in its hunt for the paranormal.

On Disney XD's Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! (8:30 p.m.), in "Some Assembly Required," the Avengers move in to a mansion together, but the Hulk has issues after he is manipulated by the Enchantress. Then, on Comedy Central's Ugly Americans (10:30 p.m.), it's "Hell for the Holidays" when Mark and Randall go to hell for Halloween. On the Science Channel's Sci Fi Science (10 p.m.), Dr. Kaku draws up plans to save the human race in case of an "A.I. Uprising." And on IFC's Dead Set (midnight), Kelly and Marky hunt for medical supplies, while Alex and Riq make a shocking discovery.

Thursday, Oct. 28

The Big Bang Theory (CBS) 8 p.m. - "The Irish Pub Formulation"

When Raj's sister pays a visit, she makes a connection with Leonard that causes trouble for the gang.

The Vampire Diaries (The CW) 8 p.m. - "Masquerade"

It's another big event in Mystic Falls, which can only mean someone is going to die. This time the Lockwoods throw a masquerade ball and Stefan, Damon and the gang decide to kill Katherine. Meanwhile, Matt and Tyler find trouble as well.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) 9 p.m. - "Cold Blooded"

Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff guest-stars in a mystery about a college student who appears to have suffered death by T. rex.

Fall finale! Team Truth heads to Guam to hunt for zombies, and then it's off to Madagascar in the search for a batlike creature with a monkey face.

Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Haunted Mansion Mist/Starlight Intruder"

Returns with all-new episodes! The viral video team heads to Alton, Ill., to check out footage of a strange mist seen in McPike Mansion, and then it's off to Fremont, Calif., to investigate a UFO sighting.

The second-season premiere of the History Channel's Ancient Aliens (10 p.m.) explores "Mysterious Places" connected with UFO sightings, including the Bermuda Triangle. And on IFC's Dead Set (Midnight), Pippa and Patrick work to escape and zombies try to get in the Big Brother house.

Friday, Oct. 29

Smallville (The CW) 8 p.m. - "Harvest"

Even though you'd think she'd know better by now, Lois gets upset with Clark for being overprotective and ends up in trouble after getting a flat tire. Seriously, the girl should just never go anywhere by herself. Meanwhile, Tess tries to stop Alexander's rapid aging.

Supernatural (The CW) 9 p.m. - "You Can't Handle the Truth"

After Sam's creepy reaction to Dean being turned into a vampire, I think we're all ready to know the truth about him. Luckily, the Brothers Winchester run into the Goddess of Truth, Veritas, while investigating a series of suicides, and Dean ends up as her latest victim. So what do you think is up with Sam?

Sanctuary (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Bank Job"

Get ready for bank robbery and abnormal hunting in this episode, which finds Kate in her element.

On The Cartoon Network's Batman: The Brave and the Bold (7 p.m.), a plot by Felix Faust leads to Batman switching bodies with a woman in "The Criss Cross Conspiracy!" On CBS's Medium (8 p.m.), Clancy Brown guest-stars in an episode that has Allison dreaming of disaster in the future in "Where Were You When... ?" On the Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures (9 p.m.), the team heads to an abandoned gold mine where many people died in the 1800s in "Vulture Mine - Vulture City, AZ." And on IFC's Dead Set (midnight), the series finishes its five-episode run and my psychic abilities tell me that there will be lots of zombies in the finale.

Saturday, Oct. 30

Red: Werewolf Hunter (Syfy) 9 p.m.

Felicia Day stars as Red, a werewolf hunter who brings home her fiance to meet the family. Unfortunately, the local werewolf pack is acting up and Red and her werewolf-hunting brothers realize they have to put them down.

On the Biography Channel's Celebrity Ghost Stories (9 p.m.), interviews and re-enactments explore the ghost stories of Daryl Hannah, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Shana Moakler and Marilyn Manson. The Investigation Discovery Channel offers up three episodes of American Occult (8, 9, & 10 p.m.), exploring occult rituals in "Savage Sin," real-life vampires in "Blood Lust" and a grisly crime that just might be an "Evil Sacrifice." And National Geographic's The Truth Behind Zombies (10 p.m.) takes a look at voodoo magic in Haiti and real-life "zombification."

Sunday, Oct. 31 - Happy Halloween!

Ghost Hunters Live! (Syfy) 7 p.m.

Six-hour-long live event! Destination Truth's Josh Gates hosts this year's live ghost hunt by TAPS, featuring Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson as they return to New York's abandoned Buffalo Central Terminal.

Masterpiece Mystery! (PBS) 9 p.m. - "Sherlock: The Blind Banker"

Holmes and Watson investigate a bank break-in that may be connected to a dead banker. Meanwhile, things seem to be looking up for Watson, who applies for a part-time job and goes on a date.

The Walking Dead (AMC) 10 p.m. - "Days Gone By"

Series premiere! You've got to love a good zombie apocalypse! In the opening episode, Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) is injured and wakes up from a coma to find the world forever changed. He learns that flesh-eating zombies walk the streets while the living try to survive. Rick sets out to find a refugee center in Atlanta, where he hopes to find his missing wife and son.

On A&E's Paranormal State (9 & 9:30 p.m.), the team checks out the Campbell House in Lexington, which has claims of "Supernatural Seduction," and then it's off to Daisytown, Pa., to revisit a case in "Return of the Dead: Glove, II." The channel's Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal (10 p.m.) delves into what happens when two psychic teens travel to the Landon House in Urbana, Md., to investigate psychic phenomena in "Blood Maryland." And on Animal Planet's The Haunted (10 p.m.), an evil entity haunts a family's house in "Horror in the Closet."
