We're losing more and more shows to fall finales this week, but on the bright side we get lots of major events before our favorite shows go on hiatus. This week, the Legends of Tomorrow come together on The Flash and Arrow, Bruce Wayne is abducted on GothamDoctor Who reaches a season finale, and more!

Check out the week in TV below. What's on your watchlist?

Gotham (FOX) Monday, 8 p.m. - "Rise of the Villains: Worse Than a Crime"

Midseason finale! - As we get closer to Christmas, more and more shows are signing off for a little winter break, and this week it's Gotham's turn. In the midseason finale, Gordon will have to work with some unlikely allies when Bruce Wayne gets abducted, which could mean we either get a major cliffhanger or some kind of story pivot to close out 2015. That's not the only reason to watch tonight, though: During the broadcast, FOX will air a new sneak peek at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, giving us our first new footage in some time.

Minority Report (FOX) Monday, 9 p.m. - "Everybody Runs"

Season finale! - Minority Report seemed so promising in the buildup to its premiere. It had a concept that provided built-in procedural fun, it had a diverse cast, and it just looked, well, cool. Then it premiered, and audiences just didn't show up, prompting FOX to actually reduce the show's initial episode order. At this point, all that's left is the official cancellation notice, which should arrive any day now.

The Flash (CW) Tuesday, 8 p.m. - "Legends of Today" & Arrow (CW) Wednesday, 8 p.m.  - "Legends of Yesterday"

Legends of Tomorrow! - We've come to expect big things from the event episodes of Arrow and The Flash, and this year's crossover has the highest stakes yet, not because of the story, but because this is when we find out what the Arrowverse is really made of. Last year it successfully spun off The Flash, which became a hit in its own right, and now both shows are teaming up to launch Legends of Tomorrow, the first team series in the CW's little superhero world. Lightning struck twice with The Flash, but will the third time work just as well? We'll get to see how it all begins this week.

Doctor Who (BBC) Saturday, 9 p.m. - "Hell Bent"

Season finale! - We were promised big things from this season of Doctor Who, and whether you've liked the events of the year or not, you can't argue with the ambition. Steven Moffat and company introduced a powerful new villain, set up a massive new arc, got rid of a Companion and, finally, dropped the Doctor back on Gallifrey with the revelation that he himself could be the one who destroys it. This is huge stuff, and while we don't know if it'll pay off now or next season, I can't wait to find out. Plus, the Christmas special is just a few weeks away.

The Leftovers (HBO) Sunday, 9 p.m. - "I Live Here Now"

Season finale! - While its first season was well received, with Season 2 The Leftovers has catapulted into being one of the most critically beloved shows of the year, and it's done it thanks to new locations, new twists and stories that play with time and mystery like nothing Season 1 had to offer. It's a bleak, powerful show, and this was the year everyone sat up and took notice. Now we just have to wait and see if HBO will keep the show around despite rather low viewership. It's a network that loves prestige, and The Leftovers has it, but the show's fate is uncertain at the moment.
