We're in the home stretch of 2015, and that means most TV shows have hung it up until 2016. That doesn't mean there's nothing to watch this week, though. Sherlock is finally back with a new special, Galavant debuts a new season, Ash vs. Evil Dead wraps up, Syfy marathons The Twilight Zone, and more!

Check out the week in TV below. What's on your watchlist?

The Twilight Zone Marathon (Syfy) Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Marathon Alert! - It's that time of year again: time to ring in the New Year with hours and hours of Rod Serling's classic anthology series The Twilight Zone. We're now entering the third decade of this particular TV event, and this year Syfy's making it extra special by airing every single episode in chronological order, and in HD, for the first time. So this year you won't just be hunting around for your favorite episodes. You'll be experiencing the evolution of an iconic science fiction series in real time ... if you can stay awake. Apart from a two-hour block for WWE Smackdown on Thursday night, the marathon will continue through Sunday.

Sherlock (PBS) Friday, 9 p.m. - "The Abominable Bride"

Sherlock Special! - We've been waiting a long time for this, and now it's finally here. After years of sprinting around modern-day London, solving mysteries, Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) and John Watson (Martin Freeman) are heading back to Victorian London, the Great Detective's original home, for an all-new case. The special's title is a reference to an old case in one of Arthur Conan Doyle's original stories, and now Steven Moffat and company are putting their own spin on just what that case might be. Apart from that, we're not entirely sure what to expect, but the good news is Sherlock is back for the first time in nearly two years.

MythBusters (DISC) Saturday, 8 p.m. - "MythBusters Revealed: The Behind the Scenes Season Opener"

Season premiere! - A couple of months ago we learned that MythBusters, a staple of nerd television for more than a decade -- will be ending its run in 2016 after 14 seasons, countless myths and lots of explosions. Anyone who's followed the adventures of Adam, Jamie and the gang over the years knows that, if they're going out, they're going out big, and this season-opening special is meant to showcase some of what they've got in store for their sendoff. The curtain call will be very sad indeed, but at the moment it's about looking forward to just how big these guys can make it.

Ash vs. Evil Dead (Starz) Saturday, 9 p.m. - "The Dark One"

Season finale! - Well, here we are, two months removed from the premiere, and it's time to say goodbye to Ash vs. Evil Dead ... for a while. Back when this revival series was announced, we had no idea if it would be any good, but then the show premiered, and brought us loads of groovy fun. Now we can't get enough, and neither can Starz. They renewed the show for a second season almost immediately, guaranteeing we'll see more. For now, though, it's time for Ash to face a choice that could change his life forever.

Galvant (ABC) Sunday, 8 p.m. - "A New Season...aka Suck It Cancellation Bear" and "World's Best Kiss"

Season premiere! - At the beginning of 2015, Galavant emerged as an interesting experiment for ABC, a musical fantasy comedy that took Disney fairy-tale cliches and twisted them into dirty irreverence. The show quickly developed a loyal, if small, fanbase, and though the people who loved the show really loved it, the ratings weren't spectaular. For a while, it looked like Season 2 was out of the question. Then ABC decided to bring Galavant back in defiance of ratings pundits (hence the season premiere's title), so we get another year of wacky musical adventures. Check out a preview below.

Rudolphs Shiny New Year (ABC) 9 p.m.

Rudolph the reindeer comes to the rescue when an evil bird kidnaps the New Year baby. Voices of Red Skelton, Frank Gorshin, Morey Amsterdam.

Ray Harryhausen Movie Marathon (TCM) 6:30 a.m.

Contuining the grand tradition of holiday marathons to fill those lazy vacation hours, this year TCM is hosting 12 hours of films from everyone's favorite monster marker, including It Came from Beneath the SeaThe 7th Voyage of Sinbad, and Jason and the Argonauts

The 38th Annual Kennedy Center Honors (CBS) 9 p.m.

Now, there's nothing genre about an awards show that bestows one of the nation's highest honors on a group of artists, but it's a slow week, so I thought I'd let you know: One of the honorees this year is George Lucas. So, check it out if you want to see a tribute to the architect of Star Wars.

The Expanse (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "CQB"

Holden and crew are caught in the middle of a battle; Miller's partner goes missing.

The Twilight Zone Marathon (Syfy) 7 p.m.

New Twilight Zone Marathon (El Rey) 6 a.m.

Sherlock (PBS) 9 p.m. - "The Abominable Bride"
