Two of cables summer holdouts take it up a notch as MTV's Teen Wolf faces a brewing storm and HBO's True Blood gets even bloodier. Meanwhile, Syfy's Primeval: New World ends its run with a big Saturday marathon.

Also this week, Big Jim is challenged on Under the Dome, we get a preview of the vets on a special Face Off, Leela developes unsightly tentacles on Futurama, Joe Rogan looks at robots on Joe Rogan Questions Everything, Greg Evigan and Denise Crosby battle aliens on Syfy's original movie Invasion Roswell, Wilfred causes trouble between Ryan and his family on Wilfred, Kiera is captured on Continuum, and Tom is smitten by a troubled woman on BBC America's Being Human.

Monday, Aug. 5

Teen Wolf (MTV) 10 p.m. - “The Overlooked”

It looks like a storm is coming in more ways than one when the hospital is evacuated, and Scott's mom and Stiles' dad are caught in the middle between the Alphas, Scott and Derek and the Darach.

Face Off (Syfy) 9 p.m. - “The Vets Strike Back”

While it's been a big week for Doctor Who with the announcement of a new Doctor, former Doctor David Tennant is taking on the starring role in BBC America's Broadchurch (10 p.m.), a mystery series about two detectives on the hunt for a young boy's killer. And on FX's horror show The Bridge (10 p.m.), Charlotte turns to Marco for advice and the search continues for the killer in “The Beast.”

Thursday, Aug. 8

Invasion Roswell (Syfy) 9 p.m.

Greg Evigan and Denise Crosby star in this Syfy original movie about a group of elite commandos who come out of retirement to stop an alien invasion.

Primeval: New World (Syfy) 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 p.m. - Six episode finale marathon

Six-hour marathon leading up to the series finale! It's a full day of Primeval: New World, beginning with the pilot at 10 a.m. And then at 5 p.m. the final six unaired episodes premiere, including “Truth,” “Breakthrough,” “The Great Escape,” “The Inquisition” and the two-hour finale, “The Sound of Thunder”.

Being Human (BBC America) 10 p.m. - “No Care, All Responsibility”

Tom tries to help a woman in trouble named Natasha, but is challenged when his thirst takes over.

Complications on a surgery force Jason to take Ruben's unfinished drug in hopes of holding off Ian, but things do not go as planned.

While it doesn't sound like there will be any dragons about, Starz' White Queen (8 p.m.) looks like a bloody good entry to Saturday's offerings. And on A&E's Psychic Tia (10 & 10:30 p.m.) Tia gives a warning to a client about a car accident, and then Hailey's parents visit from North Carolina.

Sunday, Aug. 11

True Blood (HBO) 9 p.m. - “Life Matters”

Bill desperately tries to get Warlow away from the faerie plain, but Sookie has her own plans. Meanwhile, Eric is none to happy when he arrives at the vampire camp.

Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime) 9 p.m. - “50 Shades of Grayson”

Jane defends a groom-to-be after a bachelorette party goes badly. Meanwhile, Kim takes the case of a housewife who claims her online novel has been plagiarized.
