Things come to a head for MTV's Teen Wolf this week in the show's midseason finale as Scott and the gang try to save the parents from that nasty piece of work, the Darach. The other big event is Syfy's newest shark movie, Ghost Shark. It's a shark. It's a ghost. No, it's a … okay, stop laughing.


Also this week, a mysterious woman arrives in Chester's Mill on Under the Dome, the artists must make a future Frankenstein on Face Off, the heroes hit the Emerald City convention on Heroes of Cosplay, the team faces adversity while on the way to a team-building retreat on Futurama and it's a Fanarama as the fans choose their top 10 Futurama episodes, Joe questions government conspiracy theories surrounding aliens on Joe Rogan Questions Everything, Wilfred pursues a forbidden love on Wilfred, Kiera might have a chance to go home on Continuum, and Jason discovers he has a son on Do No Harm.

Monday, Aug. 19

Teen Wolf (MTV) 10 p.m. - “Lunar Ellipse”

Midseason finale! Scott, Stiles and Allison risk everything when they perform a dangerous ritual to try and save their parents from the Darach, while also dealing with the Alphas. The series returns with the second half of the season on Monday, Jan. 6.

Under The Dome (CBS) 10 p.m. - “The Fourth Hand”

Freedoms are challenged and Big Jim and Barbie meet a mysterious woman who suddenly arrives in Chester's Mill.

Face Off (Syfy) 9 p.m. - “Future Frankenstein”

The vets and rookies must work together to create far-future versions of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

The heroes take on the Emerald City convention in Seattle.

Wednesday, Aug. 21

Paranormal Witness (Syfy) 9 p.m. - “The Lynchville Secret”

A mother and her daughters are tormented by the ghost of a mayor of a Wild West town.

Futurama (Comedy Central) 10 p.m. - “Murder on the Planet Express”

While on the way to a team-building retreat, the crew becomes trapped with a horrific creature. Normally you wouldn't have to worry about any of the crew getting eaten, at least not permanently, but with the show ending soon, there might be some surprises in this episode.

Joe Rogan Questions Everything (Syfy) 10 p.m. - “Real Close Encounters”

Joe Rogan questions whether the government is covering up that contact has really happened with aliens.

Wilfred (FX) 10 p.m. - “Stagnation”

Wilfred goes after a forbidden love.

Could Ghost Shark be the next Sharknado? In this Syfy original movie, two locals try to put a stop to a ghost shark that can hunt anywhere there's water. Mackenzie Rosman and Night Court's Richard Moll star.

Friday, Aug. 23

Continuum (Syfy) 10 p.m. - “Second Last”

In the penultimate episode of the season, Kiera and Carlos attempt to stop Travis, who has gotten hold of a second CPS suit. Meanwhile, Alec and Emily plot their escape and Kiera may have a chance to go home.

Do No Harm (NBC) 10 p.m. - “Mine”

Jason discovers he has a son, but Olivia thinks it's too dangerous for them to have a relationship considering the Ian of it all.
