The return of the regular broadcast TV schedule is now in full swing, but that doesn't mean we're free of triumphant returns. This week, The Walking Dead is finally back for its midseason return. Plus, The Flash heads to Earth-2, Supergirl adapts a classic story, and more.

Check out the week in TV below. What's on your watchlist?

Supergirl (CBS) Monday, 8 p.m. - "For the Girl Who Has Everything"

Supergirl has already plundered plenty of comic-book lore for its enjoyment, from Bizarro to a young Clark Kent. Now, in what could be one of the benchmark moments of this show's first season, we get to see Kara in an adaptation of an iconic Alan Moore superhero story. This week, Kara faces a parasitic foe that traps her in a hallucination, while her friends must deal with external problems without her. Check out a preview below.

The Magicians (Syfy) Monday, 9 p.m. - "The World in the Walls"

The Magicians is the latest ambitious series that forms a piece of Syfy's larger strategy to return to more hard genre programming, and so far it's paying off. Today the series picked up a Season 2 renewal after just three episodes, thanks in no small part to a Live+3 viewer average of 1.7 million. So far, Syfy has another hit on its hands. Now all that's left is to see if that show can carry this momentum into 2017.

The Flash (CW) Tuesday, 8 p.m. - "Welcome to Earth-2"

We've talked many times before about the comic-book ambitions of The Flash, and about just how crazy this show can get. Well, this week it delves even deeper into that territory with a journey into Earth-2, where we'll meet Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and Deathstorm (Robbie Amell), along with a host of other alternate universe delights. Check out a preview below.

Inside the Actors Studio (Bravo) Thursday, 8 p.m. - "The Walking Dead"

The Walking Dead Special! - In recent years, James Lipton's hit series Inside the Actors Studio has spent more and more time interviewing ensembles, and this week he turns his attention to the cast of The Walking Dead, including Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, Danai Gurira and Norman Reedus. While you're waiting for the midseason premiere, this just might be the perfect distraction.

The Walking Dead (AMC) Sunday, 9 p.m. - "No Way Out"

Midseason premiere! - Well, The Walking Dead is back at long last, after what seemed like an eternal midseason hiatus, and we're promised some very big things. When we last left our survivors, Alexandria was overrun with walkers, and those who survived were relying on things like camouflage and careful hiding to get by. Now, we know by the midseason finale's teasers, they face a new threat: Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the iconic comic-book villain responsible for some of the most brutal moments in the franchise's story so far. We don't yet know just how close the show will stick to Negan's comic-book story, or who will survive it, but that's part of the fun of watching. Check out a preview below.
