TV THIS WEEK: Bender's a daddy, Carter gets smarter and more!

Futurama returns for its seventh season with a big one-hour, two-episode season premiere that celebrates Father's Day in its own special way ... with Bender becoming a daddy. And over at Syfy, Lost Girl has body-swapping issues, while Eureka deals with a smarter Jack.

Also this week, the shape-shifter strikes again on Teen Wolf, a sorority has ghost issues on the series premiere of School Spirits, Charlie tries to help a man who died in an accident on Saving Hope, Syfy unleashes gigantic spiders on New Orleans in its flick Arachnoquake, the humans find new hope on Falling Skies, and the search for Debbie Pelt heats up on True Blood.

Monday, June 18

Eureka (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Smarter Carter

What's going to happen when Carter is the smartest guy in Eureka? We'll find out when he has to deal with that very issue, along with a visit from Allison's brother.

Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Into the Vortex; Tavern Shapeshifter"

The team delves into the Oregon Vortex and an English pub that may have a ghost.

George Takei pops in to authenticate a Star Trek phaser, and the team handles props from X2: X-Men United and Beetlejuice. Makeup artist Ve Neill is featured.

Futurama (Comedy Central) 10 p.m. - "The Bots and the Bees" and "A Farewell To Arms"

One-hour season-seven premiere! In the opener, when Bender has a fling with the office soda machine the union produces a little bundle of joy. And in the second episode, an ancient prophecy foretells the end of the world in 3012 — again.

School Spirits (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Sorority House Terror"

Series premiere! From the people who brought you Celebrity Ghost Stories, this new series explores real-life ghost stories that take place in schools and universities. First up, a University of Michigan sorority has paranormal activity.

Beck takes action when an Occupation-controlled energy drill jeopardizes Argon City.

A tour guide and his family find themselves in survival mode when multiple earthquakes unleash enormous spiders on New Orleans in this Syfy original movie. The film stars Tracey Gold, Edward Furlong and Ethan Phillips.
