In the space of a weekend we go from two Being Humans to zero Being Humans as Syfy's version finishes its first season tonight (and BBC America ended its third season last Saturday). But the big news is that HBO's Game of Thrones finally premieres, and Sanctuary's back with its midseason premiere.

Also this week, Chuck tries to stop a CIA hit on Chuck, a Destiny away team gets attacked on Stargate Universe, Klaus is after Elena on The Vampire Diaries, a Chupacabra may have done it on Bones, Archer needs saving in Russia on Archer, Clark gets stuck in the alternate universe again on Smallville, Fate has a bone to pick with Sam and Dean on Supernatural, Olivia's in danger on Fringe, Merlin's on a quest on Camelot, and Bruce Campbell explores Sam's spy days in the movie Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe. Meanwhile, The Event takes the week off.

Here's what we have to look forward to this week on sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal and spy-fi TV, and on non-sci-fi shows with sci-fi storylines.

Monday, April 11

Chuck (NBC) 8 p.m. - "Chuck Versus the Family Volkoff"

Trouble looms when Chuck tries to save Vivian (Laura Cohan) from a CIA hit, which leads him to make an alliance with the dangerous Volkoff (Timothy Dalton). Meanwhile, Mama Bartowski (Linda Hamilton) discovers that Ellie has her father's laptop, and Sarah surprises Chuck with a revelation.

Being Human (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Me Killing You"

Season-one finale! The successful first season comes to a close as Josh and Sally care for Aidan as he struggles to survive Bishop's attack. Meanwhile, Nora learns Josh's secret and we discover how Aidan and Josh first met. Syfy has ordered a second season of Being Human. Does that make you happy?

Here's a preview and a sneak peek:

Stargate Universe (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "The Hunt"

An expedition from the Destiny runs into trouble when they are attacked while exploring a planet. Meanwhile, back on Destiny, new technology is discovered, which leads to problems for Brody.

And on SOAPnet's Being Erica (11 p.m.), the time-traveling Erica hosts a holiday party at 50/50 Press and revisits holidays past in "Fa La Erica."

Thursday, April 14

The Vampire Diaries (The CW) 8 p.m. - "The Last Dance"

It's another themed event in Mystic Falls, so you just know it's going to be a good episode. This time it's a 1960s Decade Dance at the school, which brings Elena and Stefan out just as Klaus stirs things up. Meanwhile, Caroline wants to attend the dance with Matt. Anyone else happy they finally found some juicy material for Matthew Davis, who plays Alaric, to sink his teeth into?

Here's a promo:

Bones (Fox) 9 p.m. - "The Truth in the Myth"

Chupacabra alert! Bones and Booth investigate the case of a myth-busting TV host who is found dead in the West Virginia wilderness. However, things get strange when the suspects include the legendary chupacabra and a pet psychic (Jo Anne Worley). The episode was written by John Francis Daley (who plays Sweets) and Jonathan Goldstein.

Here's a look:

Archer (FX) 10 p.m. - "White Nights"

Archer hunts for the identity of his father in Russia, which gets him in more than a little trouble and in need of a rescue by ODIN agent Barry.

Smallville (The CW) 8 p.m. - "Kent"

Returns with new episodes! John Schneider reprises his role as Jonathan Kent when Clark is sent back to the alternate universe by Clark Luthor. Elsewhere, Tess finds herself in a difficult position when Clark Luthor threatens to kill her if she doesn't join him, and Lois enlists Emil's (Allesandro Juliani) help to get Clark back where he belongs.

Here's a preview:

Supernatural (The CW) 9 p.m. - "My Heart Will Go On"

Returns with new episodes! When Balthazar stops the Titanic from sinking, Fate begins to take out anyone who would have died if the ship had sunk (which sounds a little Final Destination-esque to me). And Sam and Dean discover they've run afoul of Fate, and Castiel explains that the only way they'll survive is if they kill her. Oh, it sucks to be them.

Here's a look:

Fringe (Fox) 9 p.m. - "Lysergic Acid Diethylamide"

Returns with new episodes! William Bell's plan begins to backfire, and the team rushes to get his consciousness out of Olivia's body before she's lost forever. And somehow it involves LSD.

Here's a promo:

Sanctuary (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Pax Romana"

Midseason premiere! The second half of season three returns with a resolution to the cliffhanger in "Hollow Men." In the episode, Magnus continues her struggle for survival for her and her team as she goes up against Ranna Seneschal. Meanwhile, Druitt fights his own battles against cannibalistic creatures.

Here's a preview and a sneak peek:

Camelot (Starz) 10 p.m. - "Lady of the Lake"

As Merlin goes on a quest to find a sword fit for a king, Arthur becomes more assertive after a talk with Guinevere.

And on Animal Planet's The Haunted (10 p.m.), a woman discovers something in her yard that may account for ghostly activity in her home in "Bone Crusher."

Sunday, April 17

Game of Thrones (HBO) 9 p.m. - "Winter Is Coming"

Series premiere! Based on George R.R. Martin's medieval fantasy books, the series begins as King Robert Baratheon travels to offer Lord Ned Stark a position in his court. Elsewhere, Prince Viserys Targaryen uses his sister, Daenerys, in an effort to return to power from his exile. After all the hype, what do you think?
