Tyrese Gibson wants to play Green Lantern in the DC Cinematic Universe so badly, he’s taking things to the next level: A little less talk, a lot more action.

We recently told you that the Fast & Furious star is so keen on playing the John Stewart version of the Emerald Crusader that he’s posted some images of himself clad in the superhero outfit on his Instagram account.

Now the actor has posted THIS little gem. Behold!

I don't talk..... I move..... #WB #GreenLanternMission

Looks like Gibson is taking matters into his own hands and is teasing a meeting with the bigwigs over at The WB. Have the powers-that-be noticed that the actor is deadly serious about replacing Ryan Reynolds as Earth’s member of the Green Lantern Corps? A new Green Lantern flick is slated to hit the big screen in 2020 (with or without Reynolds remains to be seen), and Green Lantern will make his first reappearance in 2017 with that little Justice League movie.

What do you think? Do you think Warner Bros. should give Tyrese Gibson a shot at playing John Stewart in its upcoming superhero flicks? After all, it did work for Vin Diesel when he put himself forward on social media. Should be interesting to see how it goes.
