Earth’s Mightiest Heroes assemble in two new action-packed TV spots for Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is set to open in a month. The first one spotlights the Marvel flick’s big bad villain, Ultron (James Spader), who’s bent on total destruction -- as evidenced here by this particularly explosive promo. And keep your eyes peeled, because as Comic Book Movie points out, there’s definitely a "flying" city in there -- for lack of a better word. Have a look:

Now, the second promo centers mostly on our Avengers, and every main member of the team has a chance to shine with some quips. My personal faves? Captain America (Chris Evans), who throws his motorcycle -- in a jaw-dropping action sequence -- at some bad guys and then says: "It slipped out." Then there's Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who wisecracks: "We’re fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow." Check them out:

Directed by Joss Whedon, Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elisabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders and James Spader. The Marvel summer tentpole will open in theaters on May 1.
