While we might have to patiently wait for a while to see Netflix's Americanized adaptation of Japan's Death Note anime horror sensation, the Land of the Rising Sun is delivering a new trailer for their latest live-action sequel, Death Note: Light Up the New World.  Set within the mythology of the original Death Note cinema series, this spinoff features an entirely new story where six unfortunate souls must determine their fates by keeping or passing their doom documents over to someone else. Death Note 3 unfolds 10 years after the plots of Death Note 2: The Last Name from 2006, not the storyline of the original manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata or the 2015 TV drama. Directed by Shinsake Sato, it stars Masahiro Higashide, Sosuke Ikematsu, Masaki Suda, Erika Toda and Rina Kawaei and opens in Japan via Warner Bros. on Oct. 29, 2016.

Have look at this intriguing new trailer and tell us if you've delved into the nightmarish nuances of Death Note.
