Several months ago, fans of the Hatchet franchise got a real treat. Director Adam Green set up a 10th-anniversary screening of his signature indie slasher in Hollywood. But when fans filed into the theater and the lights went down, they were greeted with a surprise: a brand-new Hatchet movie.

Titled Victor Crowley, after the ax-wielding maniac of the series, the film follows Andrew Yong, the sole survivor of the massacre 10 years ago, returning to Honey Island Swamp with a TV crew to explore his deepest trauma. Naturally, Victor Crowley has been brought back from the dead and is ready to finish what he started.

Parry Shen reprises his role as Andrew, and Kane Hodder returns as Victor Crowley. Others in the cast include Laura Ortiz (The Hills Have Eyes, Holliston), Dave Sheridan (Ghost World, The Devil's Rejects), Brian Quinn (Impractical Jokers), and Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp).

Green toured with the film in what he dubbed the "Victor Crowley Road Show," throughout October 2017, playing one-night-only screenings across the country. Now Victor Crowley is getting a proper home release, coming to VOD, Blu-ray, and DVD on February 6. Check out the full-length trailer and get a sneak peek at the gory goodies.
