VIDEO: 10 more Stephen King stories that need to be adapted to film or TV

It's been a long time coming, but it seems now that production on the film adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower books is underway, with Idris Elba in the part of Roland and Matthew McConaughey as his nemesis, the Man in Black. How it will turn out is anybody's guess -- the quality of King fiction-based shows and movies is decidedly checkered -- but, whatever the result, it's an exciting time for fans of the master of horror when a major studio puts this kind of star power behind one of his most notable works.

But despite the depths to which King's library has been plumbed, there's still plenty of fertile territory when it comes to terrifying tales and epic yarns that could be brought to the big or small screen. With that in mind, we took a look at 10 as-yet-unadapted Stephen King pieces that should be added to some ambitious studio or channel's slate as soon as possible.
