A Vietnamese skin clinic accidentally used the Umbrella logo. Oops.

A new skin clinic in Vietnam is raising eyebrows because its logo is a bit … familiar to sci-fi fans. And it’s probably not the look you want if your goal is to get people to come in and let you mess with their skin.

Medcare Skin Centre, in Ho Chi Minh City, is using the Umbrella Corp. logo made famous in the Resident Evil video game and film series. Yeah, the fake company that created the zombie plague and is pure evil incarnate? That logo. Oops.

Mashable did a bit of digging and came to the conclusion that this is probably just a case of a smallish, foreign company accidentally cribbing the wrong logo to promote its business. As opposed to a bit of clever viral marketing from Capcom (though that’s always possible these days). Whatever happened, there’s no doubt this company could not have picked a worse logo.

There’s no such thing as bad press, but when you’re trying to sell people skin cream under the logo of the zombie apocalypse? That’s about as close as you can get, right?
