Wage war in a galaxy far, far away in E3 trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront II

The first Star Wars: Battlefront was a whole lot of fun, but it wasn’t perfect. Now EA is trying to correct those faults with the sequel — and it looks pretty great.

The video game developer dropped a new trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront II at E3, showing off some combat gameplay from eras that run from the prequel trilogy to the original trilogy and all the way to The Force Awakens. The graphics are positively stunning, and much as in the first game, you’re basically dropped into the middle of a Star Wars war zone. And it’s pretty great.

Beyond making it all look good, EA is working to make more DLC content available to all players with this one, and they’ve added a story mode that puts players in the boots of a soldier for the Empire looking for revenge against the Empire. If they can manage to deliver a compelling solo story plus the multiplayer action fans have come to expect, this could be one of the biggest games of the year.

Star Wars: Battlefront II hits Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17.
