We’ve already gotten a good look at the redesigned Spidey suit in Marc Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man 2, but it turns out that won’t be the only costume popping up in the superhero sequel.
Stuntman William Spencer posted a new pic online, showing him hard at work rocking the Spidey suit. But keen-eyed fans quickly noticed there was something a little off.
Namely, he appears to be wearing the original suit from the first film, meaning Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) will apparently not start out the sequel with his spiffy new duds. Or perhaps he will, but will be forced to downgrade to his old suit for some reason.
What does this tell us? For one thing, it means we’ll apparently get some on-screen explanation as to how Spidey developed the new suit, and it won’t just be some unmentioned change that takes place between the films. This fits pretty well with Webb’s approach, as he’s shown he can be a stickler to his "grounded" style and established continuity.
So why do you think Spidey needs to develop that new suit in part two?
