Sylvester McCoy, aka the Seventh Doctor (you know, the one with the big red question mark umbrella), has recently said that he'd love to return to Doctor Who for the show's 50th-anniversary bash—but NOT as a former Doctor.

In fact, McCoy actually wants to be the villain of the special! But let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

Sylvester McCoy and his former Who companion Ace, actress Sophie Aldred, both sat down for an interview with Shadowlocked, and though brief, the video clip is full of interesting tidbits and some startling revelations.

For one, Sophie Aldred revealed that former Who showrunner Russell T Davies had plans to bring back Ace for a Sarah Jane Adventures story—much as he did with another former companion, Jo Grant (Katy Manning), in the season-four story ''Death of the Doctor.''

Sadly, this plan will now never take shape because of Elisabeth Sladen's untimely death from cancer last year. However, Sophie Aldred is open to returning on Who. "You never know,'' she said, ''I'm waiting for a call."

Now back to Sylvester McCoy, who shared what he'd love to see for Doctor Who's 50th anniversary: "The fans want all the Doctors to come together,'' he said.

And then the guy who will be Radagast the Brown in The Hobbit brought up another possible and interesting angle which made us go, ''That's kinda cool!''

"Someone suggested something which I really liked,'' McCoy said, ''which was they should get all the old Doctor Who actors to play other characters. I think that would be huge fun.

"I had this sudden image of my character, an evil monstrous one who you didn't quite know who it was, about to kill the Doctor!"

What do you think of Sylvester McCoy's dastardly plans?
