We have to wait until October 6 to see Blade Runner 2049, but the studio was out in full force at San Diego Comic-Con to re-create the neon-tinged streets of the sci-fi classic. We ventured inside, and it turns out the search for replicants is no joke.

We checked out the extensive activation for Blade Runner 2049, and brought a camera along for a full-fledged tour. Authorities are on the lookout for replicants (and you could even get scanned to see if you’re a replicant), though the action might distract from the nifty virtual reality experience.

Blade Runner 2049 picks up several years after Ridley Scott’s cult classic, with a new Blade Runner (played by Ryan Gosling) running into the original film’s Deckard (Harrison Ford) while looking into a dark secret. The long-gestating sequel is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival).
