As if we weren’t already psyched to see Alan Tudyk’s new web series Con Man, he’s gone and picked up a ton of other sci-fi alums to fill out the ranks.

The series, which is being written, produced and fronted by Tudyk (Firefly), was already set to co-star his pal Nathan Fillion and several other genre actors. According to Nerdist, they’ve now also locked down Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), Michael Trucco (Battlestar Galactica), Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers), Nolan North (Uncharted) and Samantha Smith (Supernatural) to join the cast.

All those fresh faces will join previously announced co-stars Sean Maher and Gina Torres (Firefly), Seth Green, Felicia Day, Amy Acker and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. Even if this show is terrible (which it probably shouldn’t be), this thing will be worth the price of admission for genre fans for the cast list alone.

The series will focus on a washed-up actor (Tudyk) and his famous pal (Fillion) as Tudyk’s Wray Nerely tries to make a living hitting up the comic convention circuit to capitalize on his stint as the captain of a spaceship on a beloved series canceled several years prior (ahem). It’ll touch on the weird situations you run into, and what it’s like to be a B-list actor just trying to make a go of it.

Everything that’s been released up to this point looks like it’ll be fun, and it’s nice to see Tudyk digging deep into his connections to pad out the rest of the cast. The project has raised a ton of money on IndieGoGo, and is set to launch later this year.
