Ever wanted to be in a Star Wars film? Well, now you can! Here’s how.
In a video directly from Tatooine Abu Dhabi, director J.J. Abrams introduced the new "Star Wars: Force for Change" initiative in order to raise some funds and provide awareness for UNICEF Innovation Labs and programs, benefiting the world’s most vulnerable children.
We also gets a very cool visit by one of the many aliens that'll populate Abrams's Star Wars landscape.
By donating at least $10 to this initiative through the Omaze fundraising platform, fans will be automatically entered into a contest to appear in Star Wars: Episode VII.
One lucky bastard winner will then be flown to London (where most of the flick will be filmed) to BE in the movie (with full-on hair and makeup) as well as to meet with the cast and go behind the scenes. There will also be lots more prizes handed out, including T-shirts, posters, scripts signed by Abrams, limited-edition Chewbacca busts and lightsaber hilts and advance screenings to the eagerly anticipated movie.
The contest launches today right until July 18, midnight Pacific Time.
Star Wars: Episode VII is set to hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
