We've seen some awesome things on eBay. An evening with George Lucas. Props from Caprica and Stargate. A bunch of weird stuff. There's another auction currently in play that's piqued our interest ... a walk-on role in Joss Whedon's next movie, In Your Eyes.

According to the eBay description, "IN YOUR EYES is a metaphysical love story about two seemingly polar opposites who are deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined." And if you're on set, you might get to learn a little more about it sooner than the rest of us:

The winner will be able to bring a friend to watch and experience their big debut! Complete filming schedule and exact locations are still to be determined. This two person package does not include any travel or accommodations. The winning bidder and guest are responsible for arriving at the agreed upon destination at the agreed upon date and time. ... Furthermore, on set photos and signings are subject to actors approval and availability on the day of the shoot. The set will be catered, and winner can bring one item to be signed.

Joss wrote In Your Eyes, but the film will be directed by Brin Hill and produced by Kai Cole and Michael Roiff, who also produced Waitress, a movie co-starring Nathan Fillon and written and directed by the late Adrienne Shelly. (This auction benefits the Adrienne Shelly Foundation.)

Keep in mind that having a walk-on part is akin to being a glorified extra. You will almost certainly have no lines, and it's not even clear that you'll have a scene with the stars. Before you bid, we urge you to look at the fine print. (For example, you must be 18 years or older.)

You'll probably also be bound by confidentiality agreements not to reveal what you've seen. Knowing that In Your Eyes is written by Joss, you might have to keep that inevitable character death scene to yourself.

At the time of this posting, the bid was at $1,025.
