We’ve known for a while about the new Warner Bros. theme park making its way to the UAE, but now we can pin down the exact day that Warner Bros. World — along with The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and plenty of superheroes — will be coming to Abu Dhabi.
According to an official announcement, the park will open on July 25, 2018. That means guests can go to DC’s Metropolis and Gotham City, as well as the superhero-unaffiliated Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, and Warner Bros. Plaza as Yas Island continues to solidify itself as the country’s premiere tourist stop. With 29 rides and attractions, Warner Bros. World looks to use all of its 1.65 million sq. ft. (making it one of the world’s largest theme parks and the largest based on WB properties) to entertain guests.
Pam Lifford, Warner Bros.’ president of consumer products, said in the statement that “DC Entertainment, Looney Tunes, and Hanna-Barbera” will be represented (Scooby-Doo!) at the indoor park.
Tickets are already available for purchase at the park’s website.
We’ve also got five new pictures of what fans can expect once the park opens, which you can view below:
