Brilliant theoretical physicist, author and resident Cambridge nerd god Stephen Hawking has led a triumphantly remarkable life, especially when factoring in his debilitating struggles with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, throughout most of his adult life. But we know little of his atypical youth growing up in England as the smartest guy in EVERY room and his inspiring '60s romance with Jane Wilde, the mother of his three children.
Here's the first three-hankie trailer for the new Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything, with the famous cosmologist studying the marriage of space and time, transcending all boundaries within the human endeavor and falling madly in love and wowing his critical Cambridge professors.
Opening on Nov. 7, 2014, and directed by James Marsh, this uplifting screen story stars Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Emily Watson, David Thewlis and Charlie Cox.
Are you moved by Hawking's true-life tale, and if not, have you checked your pulse lately?
