C2E2 isn't just about comics, TV, movies, or cosplay. As one of the biggest genre conventions in the country, C2E2 also has a strong presence in the anime and manga communities. On the final day of the convention, Viz Media stepped into the spotlight to highlight their upcoming imports from Japan.

Viz director of marketing and animation, Charlene Ingram, ran the panel, and she was joined by senior editor Joel Enos, a key player from the publishing side of the company. Together, they had a lot to talk about, including new hardcover editions of Andrew Hussie's Homestuck coming this month and Fullmetal Alchemist coming in May.

Fans of RWBY also got the latest word on the new anthology, RWBY: Red Like Roses. It's slated to run for four volumes, with each volume focusing on one of the main characters and featuring 14 to 17 short stories.

My Hero Academia fans should be happy to hear that Viz is speeding up the publication of the volumes from Japan, with Vol. 12 and 13 coming soon. There's also the spinoff series, My Hero Academia Vigilantes, coming this summer.

Ingram seemed particularly proud of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: Stardust Crusaders set 2, which is coming out as a four-disc set with 24 episodes in July. Fans even got to see a trailer for the set, which featured some of the series' insane action.

There was also the latest news on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Hunter Hunter Vol. 4, Kenka Bancho Otome, Dead Dead Demons, Pokemon Advanced Battle, and more. You can watch the entire panel below!
