Even though Stranger Things introduced the Shadow Monster as the Big Bad of Season 2, it was Dacre Montgomery’s (Power Rangers) mullet-wearing Billy that emerged as the real villain of the show’s sophomore season.

Following some online buzz about Montgomery’s audition tape where he wears a G-string (don't worry, this is SFW) and does his best rendition of Girls Gone Wild dancing to Duran Duran and Dexys Midnight Runners, while wearing some very cool shades, Montgomery has shared the tape (yes, there is a God). The audition apparently created a bit of a stir at Netflix when it was played during a board meeting and the actor discussed how it all came about with the good folks at GQ.

“I just kind of wanted to make a bit of a splash with the Duffers, because I assumed they would be getting so many tapes,” said Montgomery (who could be in the running to play Nightwing in the big screen movie). “I had the audition details for about a day, and I did the whole thing in the first day because I was so overwhelmingly excited about it. I got [the audition details] when I woke up, so that's 7 o'clock. It was one scene, the scene of me and Max in the car, and there was a scene from Stand By Me.”

“So I got up, kinda went crazy, shaved all my hair off around my face except for my mustache, and then rang two friends who are still studying at the acting university that I went to here in Perth,” the Australian actor added. “I was like, Can you help read for me behind the camera tonight? Then during the day I made everything else happen—the dancing and the rest, going out in the G-string and just playing around with it, and putting it together on iMovie and doing all that sort of stuff.”

Obviously, Montgomery had a lot of fun filming and putting the audition tape together. Check it out:
