Ever since Disney aquired Lucasfilm, it's been one announcement after another. First, they revealed plans for Star Wars: Episode VII , then J.J. Abrams was confirmed to direct, and meanwhile two spinoffs are also in the works. It's a lot to keep up with. Even the young Obi-Wan Kenobi can't stay in the loop.
Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan in the prequels, got his latest Star Wars update during an interview. While promoting Jack the Giant Slayer on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, McGregor was informed of the possible Han Solo and Boba Fett films. The actor looked genuinely shocked.
McGregor asked, "Is there new news today? What was the news today?" Kimmel explained, "There's a disturbance in the Force today. They're doing a Han Solo movie and a Boba Fett movie." In response, a slightly confused McGregor replied, "Before the ... what?!"
You can watch the exchange below. The Star Wars talk begins at the 2:14 mark.
