Paramount Pictures has released an action-packed international trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight.
The final (well, I’m guessing this is actually the last one) trailer features plenty of new footage including fiery ’splosions! Puking Dinobot! Optimus Prime! Bumblebee! Hot Rod! As well as more of Mark Wahlberg (Deepwater Horizon) and Sir Anthony Hopkins (Thor: The Dark World).
Directed by Michael Bay from a script by Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, as well as Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down), the movie also stars Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) as Vivian Wembley, Josh Duhamel (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, Stanley Tucci (Captain America: The First Avenger) as Joshua Joyce, Jerrod Carmichael (Neighbors) as Desi, Isabela Moner as Izabella and Liam Carrigan as King Arthur. Fun Fact: Carrigan also played the Once and Future King on Once Upon a Time.
For centuries they defended our world, but on June 21 our alliance is over.
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
Transformers: The Last Knight will open in theaters on June 21. Are you looking forward to more Transformers action?
