The first four minutes of AMC’s upcoming Preacher series have been released online, and the show begins with a BANG!
The 10-episode TV series set to debut this coming Sunday is an adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's iconic (and controversial) DC/Vertigo comic book series Preacher being adapted for the small screen by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
Starring Dominic Cooper in the title role of Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga as his former girlfriend Tulip O’Hare and Joseph Gilgun as the Irish vampire Cassidy, the supernatural drama series also stars Lucy Griffiths as Emily Woodrow, Elizabeth Perkins as Vyla Quinncannon, Jackie Earle Hayley as Odin Quincannon, W. Earl Brown as Sherriff Root, Anatol Yusef as DeBlanc, Tom Brooke as Fiore, Jamie Anne Allman and Derek Wilson in the roles of Betsy and Donny Schenck and Ian Colletti as Eugene/Arseface.

Preacher is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
Preacher will premiere with a 90-minute episode May 22 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC, so if you're not watching live, set your DVRs accordingly.
