The first intense six minutes of The Walking Dead: Michonne — A Telltale Miniseries have been revealed, featuring some dramatic and very bloody zombie-killing action.
This self-contained story is canonical to the comic-book world created by Robert Kirkman (and not the AMC series) and will explore the period during which Michonne left Rick’s group, as well as her trusty katana, in order to deal with the demons of her past, including the ghosts of her little girls. Telltale says that players will get to discover what took Michonne (not voiced by Danai Gurira) away from her allies, and what ultimately brought her back. So if you’re a big fan of the comics, then this game will probably be a must-play for you.
Here’s how Telltale Games describes the first episode:
The premiere episode, ‘In too Deep’, finds Michonne aboard ‘The Companion’, a sailing ship captained be Pete and his crew, as they look for survivors and supplies along the coast of the Chesapeake Bay. When a desperate radio signal calling for help draws them to the scene of a horrific massacre, Michonne and the crew of the Companion are lead to the floating survivors’ colony of Monroe, which just may be harboring those responsible for the carnage.
Surrounded by the dead and mistrustful of the living, you – as Michonne - will choose how the story flows through the choices you make, in this three-part episodic miniseries.
