The toughest part about doing an interview with Frank Miller is figuring out exactly what to talk about in the precious few minutes you have with him.
The guy’s career achievements are staggering. From his milestone run on Daredevil to his signature take on Batman in The Dark Knight Returns or his classic OGNs Sin City, 300, Hard Boiled and Ronin … so many classics, so little time.
Syfy Wire contributing editor Mike Avila scored an exclusive interview with Miller ahead of the release of the final issue of Dark Knight III: The Master Race. After their talk, Miller was kind enough to give us a quick look at all the goodies in his studio.
And yes, Miller’s studio is a gift from the fanboy gods, featuring walls lined with glorious original comic art and glass cases filled with action figures, statues and props from the Eisner Award Hall of Famer's unmatched career. Where does he get all those wonderful toys?
Go ahead, try not to nerd out over his mega-rare Marv statue. Oh, and watch the moment when we find a rare piece of Jack Kirby art that had gone missing in the studio for quite some time!
