Gail Simone has been recognized as one of the most influential voices in the comic book industry. She helped boost the conversation about the role of women in comics with the Women in Refrigerators web site, and went on to have acclaimed runs on titles like Birds of Prey, Deadpool and Wonder Woman, among many others. She's been a powerful advocate for better representation, and has been instrumental in the movement to expand comics' target audience.
She also knows how to tell a cracking yarn, as she hopes to demonstrate yet again with her latest effort, Clean Room.
