Developer Jam City's Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery finally launched today for Android and iOS. To whet your appetite for the mobile game, we have a cool little preview that includes a short walkthrough.
The game allows players to create and customize their own characters, attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and choose their own houses. Over the course of seven years at Hogwarts, you get to progress as a student while attending classes and learning how to cast spells, brew potions and more. Players also get to meet new and familiar faces from the Wizarding World and go on magical adventures.
Sounds pretty sweet, don't you think?
SYFY WIRE's Jackie Jennings got to play a demo of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery, which is set in the 1980s. Most of your favorite professors are there, with some of the characters featured in the books/movies actually appearing as students, such as a badass Tonks.
The game also features a few of the actors from the movies lending their vocal talents to their video game counterparts, such as Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore), Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch), Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Gemma Jones (Madam Pomfrey) and Sally Mortemore (Madam Irma Pince).
Prepare to be sorted into a house and attend your first charms class. Wingardium Leviosa!
