The Fox series Gotham has become one of the wildest comic book shows on television, and it's about to get a whole lot wilder.

We caught up with stars David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne) and Drew Powell (Butch), plus executive producer Danny Strong, to dig into how the introduction of iconic Batman villain Ra's al Ghul to the world of Gotham. Not surprisingly, he's pretty much going to rock it.

Cannon said to this point, the season has been about Bruce digging into his parents' death and the introduction of the Court of Owls. But when it comes to Ra's, he's almost like a godlike character in young Bruce's world. As Bruce thinks he's figured out his own truth, Ra's will make him question pretty much everything. Mazouz said Ra's will really get into Bruce's head.

Oh, and as for whether or not Ra's has been pulling the strings all season? Mazouz was coy, but it certainly seems possible.

Check out the interview below. Gotham returns to Fox on April 24.
