Labor Day weekend is here and we're back with a brand new video edition of Who Won the Week. SYFY WIRE's Jackie Jennings and contributing editor Dany Roth have once again joined forces to give us the rundown on just what won our week.
After missing out on the Captain America role, John Krasinski is finally an action star as CIA analyst Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime's Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Krasinski is the fifth actor to play the iconic role, and the first full eight-episode adrenaline-pumping season has now dropped on the streaming service.
The former The Office actor made a killing on the big screen earlier this year with A Quiet Place, a horror movie he not only starred in but also directed and co-wrote. And if you think eight episodes is not enough Jack Ryan for you, know that a second season has already been greenlit.
Next up is Room director Lenny Abrahamson's gothic horror film The Little Stranger, starring a stache-sporting Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars) and a creepy Ruth Wilson (The Affair). We recently sat down with the trio for an exclusive interview and a game of Either/Or.
We also have to give a mighty shout-out to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this week. Dive headfirst into our exclusive video and let us know what won your week in the comments below.
