SYFY's Erin Locascio investigated the Jessica Jones Season 2 premiere at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City last Wednesday.
Spoiler alert for those of you who didn't start watching at midnight. Locascio caught up with Jessica Jones herself, Krysten Ritter, at the star-studded Netflix event. "When we find her, she's in a pretty dark headspace because she's struggling very much with whether or not she's a murderer or she did the right thing," Ritter recounted. "Jessica does not want to be a murderer. She's not a monster, so there's a lot of conflict there for her."
Leah Gibson plays Inez Green on the Marvel show, and she wasn't shy about how impactful this season of Jessica Jones was for her. "All I can say is that it's been an incredibly fulfilling creative experience for me," Gibson admitted. "It's a part I got to explore female psychology in under duress and the evolution of the feminine spirit in great ways. I attribute that to the writing and the female empowering directors."
You don't want to skip this red carpet recap with Jessica Jones' Krysten Ritter, Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, Carrie-Anne Moss, J.R. Ramirez, and executive producer Jeph Loeb. The second season is now streaming on Netflix.
