It's not easy working in the shadow of a living legend, but artist Josh Adams, son of comics royalty Neal Adams, is carving out a prolific career infused with the creative genes of his famous family.

Josh has quietly amassed an exceptional portfolio of work over the past decade, with his art appearing in many titles including IDW's Doctor Who and DC's Batman: Odyssey and House of Mystery, and design work on SYFY's Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, and Ghost Hunters.

SYFY WIRE had the chance to observe Josh Adams in action drawing Spider-Gwen and hear how he thinks through his sketch to capture the character's true essence.

Watch him demonstrate the techniques learned from his Hall of Fame father and explain how having confidence in the inking process leads to a better definition of the Marvel figure's trademark webbing.
