Like the way Mark Hamill has read Trump’s tweets aloud in the Joker voice, Deadpool 2 and Avengers: Infinity War star Josh Brolin channeled the destroyer of worlds to tackle some of President Donald J. Trump’s tweets on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday.

After opening his shirt and arm-wrestling the host, Brolin read some of the president’s tweet’s in the voice of his Avengers: Infinity War character, Thanos. The results are equally hilarious and chilling.

“It would seem very hard to obstruct justice for a crime that never happened! Witch Hunt!” Brolin reads in his dulcet Thanosian tones, to the delight of the studio audience, as well as two other tweets.

Colbert also chats with Brolin about just how much of Thanos is CGI, and how much is Brolin, and the actor insists its all Brolin-y bluster and muscles. Okay, the CGI might help a bit with the muscles.

Here’s the whole video. The discussion about Trump and Thanos starts around the 7:40 mark. (Brolin opening up his shirt and arm-wrestling Colbert happens much earlier.)
