One of Steven Spielberg's best forays into adult science fiction is the Philip K. Dick-inspired film, Minority Report. Originally drafted back in 1992 to be a sequel to another Dick adaptation, Total Recall, Minority Report took ten years to get to the big screen.

So, what happened? Why did the movie take so long to make? What was the original intention and where did we ultimately wind up? And what was production like? Are jet packs real?

Yes. Yes, they are. Real dangerous, too.
