Another Lord of the Rings alum has wrapped production on the Hobbit trilogy, and director Peter Jackson has released a hilariously insane farewell. So long, Orlando Bloom.

Much like the recent sad-face picture with himself and Ian McKellen, Jackson has posted a lo-fi WTF little video paying tribute to Bloom’s bow-wielding elf, Legolas. The clip plays on an old viral video about the character's catchphrase, "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard."

It’s a blast, and you can tell Peter Jackson is having the time of his life returning to the J.R.R. Tolkien canon that made him a household name. if anything, this plays like a familiar farewell tour — here’s hoping that joy comes out in the last two installments.

The Desolation of Smaug opens Dec. 13, 2013, and There and Back Again opens Dec. 17, 2014.
