Philip K. Dick is an author's name instantly recognized in science fiction circles as his short stories and novels have been adapted into multiple Hollywood entertainments including Blade Runner, Minority Report, Total Recall, and The Man In The High Castle.

A new anthology series based on Dick's vast collection of far-out tales is headed to Amazon Prime in 2018 and hopes to mine a deeper vein in these fantastical works. Led by the fertile creative mind of Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander), Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams will deliver unique POVs from a rotating roster of writers, actors, and directors using Dick's wild works as a springboard.

SYFY WIRE sat down with Moore, Dick's daughter Isa Dick Hackett, and executive producers Michael Dinner and David Kanter to discuss keeping the show faithful to the material, mining a deeper vein within the individual stories, and allowing filmmakers the freedom to make their segments personal.
