John Cena may not be a full time wrestler anymore, but you can't take the WWE Superstar out of the burgeoning movie star. While speaking with SYFY WIRE at Comic-Con, Cena just couldn't resist saying 'hustle, loyalty, and respect.' It's his creed both inside and outside of the ring, and it's something that he's bringing to the big screen as well.

Cena is co-starring in the upcoming Bumblebee movie, which is a Transformers prequel that takes place over a decade before the original Michael Bay film. This time, Travis Knight is stepping into the director's chair, and Cena had high praise for Knight and for the script as well.

'With me, it's always story first,' explained Cena. 'I have to read it and enjoy it... Then I was fortunate enough to meet Travis. He was in the middle of pre-production and things were going crazy. He took time out of his day to sit and talk about the movie, his belief in the movie, story points we connected on. I really was moved by it. It was an interesting conversation, and then knowing I could play a different role. So I read a story that I like, regardless of the character they asked me to play. I've met with the captain of the ship, and he's a wonderful human being. Then they asked me to do something I've never done before, which is really, really exciting.'

In the film, Cena is portraying Agent Burns from Sector 7, as he leads the pursuit of Bumblebee, while the heroic Autobot forms a bond with Charlie Watson, a teenage girl played by Hailee Steinfeld.
