When DC's Legends of Tomorrow returns for a fourth season in the fall, The CW series will see John Constantine (Matt Ryan) join the crew of the Waverider as they take on magical creatures from myths, legends and fairy tales called Fugitives.

SYFY WIRE's Mike Avila caught up with stars Caity Lotz (White Canary), Brandon Routh (Atom), Nick Zano (Steel), Tala Ashe (Zari), Dominic Purcell (Heat Wave) and executive producer Keto Shimizu at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about what to expect in Season 4 when Constantine joins the cast.

Lotz teased that the start of the season will find Sara in a good place having defeated the demon Mallus and now in a relationship with girlfriend Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan). As for Ray, Routh says this one will start second-guessing his decision to give Nora Darhk (Courtney Ford) the Time Stone. "Certain things start to happen in the first couple of episodes and he starts to question that decision and to think maybe Nora's up to no good again," he said.

About the magical Fugitives the Legends will have to hunt down, Ashe had this to say: "There's sort of a question of are they really evil? And some aren't and some are misunderstood. So I think there's going to be a little bit of tension between the Legends of, like, what we should do with them when Constantine's like 'just let's send them all to hell' and we're a little bit 'that’s not really what we do.' So it's going to be a good conflict."

Talking about Constantine, Purcell teased that Mick and the demonologist won't be getting along but that their dynamic is going to be "very, very funny." But that's not all. "He's an outsider; even maybe more so than any of the other Legends so watching him interact with all of us is going to be interesting," Ashe added.
